Has been approved by the Scientific Council of King Saud University, at its first session on 28/5/1403 H, the use of the new Geographic Society, based in Saudi Arabia, King Saud University, and it may establish branches in other places if necessary.
This system has been modified within the rules of scientific societies in Saudi universities, which were approved by the Higher Education Council under resolution No. (10/15/1420), and the adoption of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the President of the Council for Higher Education to the record of the meeting of the Council of Higher Education No. 284 / M and 16 / 3 / 1421 e. The General Assembly held the first of the Saudi Geographical Society on 28/3/1405 H, and before the establishment of the Geographical Society of Saudi charities linked to geographical geography departments at universities and Saudi Arabia have had a variety of activities.
With regard to the actions that preceded the General Assembly held the first of the Saudi Geographical Society has been approved by the Scientific Council of King Saud University, as explained above, the application of the new system of Saudi Arabia Geographic Society, and in accordance with clause (1) of this system has been the formation of a tripartite committee by the Department of Geography, King Saud University in its third on 6/2/1405 H, the Commission has to make the necessary arrangements for the convening of the first General Assembly of the Saudi Geographical Society and the formation of its board of directors. The General Assembly held the first of the Geographic Society of the Saudi e 28/3/1405.
The Twenty-four held a meeting of the General Assembly between 28/3/1405 and 11/3/1429 e e.
